Jennifer is a Vancouver-based Style Expert, known for her work in a variety of facets of the design world; with an extensive background in the fashion and decor industries, Jennifer’s style is eclectic, individual and ultimately chic. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Design at Ryerson University, with a Minor in Business Communications, and a Diploma in Fashion Communications + Merchandising. In 2011, Jennifer was selected as a Finalist and had the 2nd place design in BC’s Best Young Designer competition. Jennifer is a recurring Expert Speaker for the BC Home + Garden Show and Vancouver Home + Design Show.

What to do and where to start when moving into a brand-spanking-NEW condo? Dark Oak flooring and cabinet finishings are challenging me. Do you have any suggestions on what route to go. If only we could afford you!!?

Sorry for the delay! We would recommend adding hints of vintage finds to give the space some character. Look for cool and original art (it doesn’t have to cost an arm and leg!) You can hit up thrift stores, vintage shops,craigslist, etsy.com and also local artists to make you space feel fabulous. Also, look for amazing lighting…this is our trade secret! Good luck and send some photos when the masterpiece is complete!
