Glam-ing it up at Concord Pacific

We were super stoked to receive a call from Concord Pacific recently, asking our team if we would like to design a display suite for their newest project, Park Place. They had seen our previous display suite at Larco’s Morgan Crossing and hoped that we could bring some of that creativity and unconventional charm to their project. It was a no brainer for us – we love working with developers and jumped right on board with the opportunity to design for Concord Pacific. We were asked to create a fabulous space for a young, fashion-forward single woman; we interpreted that by choosing to add a 70’s-glam-meets-modern twist. In true ‘Chicks’ style, we hit up our most fave resources for special treasures and inspiration; of course our first stops were ReFind and Space Lab to get a strong hold on charismatic lighting. Throwing in a trio of bold Marimekko wallpapers for backdrop, we then scoured Nood, Metropolitan Furniture and trusty ol’ IKEA for the main furnishing pieces (did we mention that we had to complete the space for $8,000?!?). A final touch with accessories from vintage shops and craigslist and there we had it. AGCTK had an absolute blast designing this space… check out the pics (courtesy of the ever-fantastic Vincent KHLee of www.ishot.ca) and let us know your thoughts!
